With an impressive portfolio of 38 peer-reviewed publications, including 35 as the first author, she has significantly contributed to the field of equine veterinary medicine. Dr. Gold is widely recognized as an invited presenter at various national and international symposiums, forums, and conferences.
Currently, she serves as an Associate-Internal Medicine Specialist at Wisconsin Equine Clinic & Hospital, where her areas of focus include neonatology, pain management, respiratory disease, emergency and critical care, geriatric medicine, and endocrine disease. Dr. Gold has a rich history in academia, having held faculty positions at esteemed institutions. Her expertise spans routine and emergency care, internal medicine, anesthesia, ultrasonography, surgery, client and staff education, and community outreach.

Sara is a seasoned Certified Veterinary Technician with extensive experience in equine healthcare. Holding an Associate’s in Arts and Science from UW-Marathon County and graduating from Globe University’s Veterinary Technician Program, Sara has steadily advanced her career at the Wisconsin Equine Clinic and Hospital.
Currently serving as the Hospital Team Leader and Lead Anesthesia Technician, she demonstrates exceptional leadership and technical skills in her roles. Her unique perspective as both a technician and an avid equestrian enthusiast, coupled with her involvement in diverse riding disciplines, adds a distinctive dimension to her expertise.
Sara has also made notable contributions to animal welfare through her volunteer work with organizations such as the Humane Society of Marathon County and Stable Hands Therapeutic Riding Inc.

Lindsey is a highly accomplished Licensed Veterinary Technician with a distinguished career spanning over 15 years, primarily centered on equine healthcare and education. Beyond her clinical role, Lindsey plays a pivotal educational role at Volunteer State Community College, where she imparts essential AVMA-sanctioned skills to budding veterinary professionals, equipping them for the VTNE.
Lindsey’s contributions extend further into the industry, as she has served as a past member of the AAEVT Executive Board and currently holds the prestigious position of Anesthesia Society Chair. These roles reflect her unwavering commitment to nurturing the growth and development of veterinary technicians and assistants within the equine veterinary sector.
