AAEVT/AAEP 2021 is a wrap and what an amazing event it was ! We had 230 attendees which is our second highest attendance EVER! Please check our Facebook for pictures from some of the attendees!
The AAEVT Executive Board worked hard to organize and put this meeting together – special kudos to our President, Elyse Rowley for selecting the speakers and topics and to Andrea Whittle (our President-elect) and Lindsey Schoelen (past President and head technician at TN Equine), for organizing a stellar day of labs and demonstrations, including a surprise Colic surgery!

Our AAEVT Social was as always, wonderful and so great to see and engage with old friends and new! As you know our raffle and silent auction funds our scholarships for the year and this year did not disappoint with a total of $1,800 received! Sponsored by Boehringer-Ingelheim Animal Health and Patterson Veterinary Supply.
The Care Credit Breakfast/presentation on Economics was well attended and they surprised all who RSVP’d with an AAEVT 2022 Membership renewal courtesy of Care Credit! Please be sure to thank them for their generous offer and contact your local rep to get Care Credit in your practice!
Big thanks to our event sponsor, Merck!
Our AAEVT Booth in the Trade Show was also a success with our amazing RC’s and Board hosting and detailing our membership to many Veterinarians, Technicians, Assistants & Office Staff. They also sold quite a few logowear items as well as copies of The Equine Manual. Way to go guys!
There are great things to come in 2022:
Podcasts, more partnership with our sponsors for webinars for AAEVT members, a Regional CE event, an Imaging focused CE event, a Leadership/ Practice Management day, AND AAEVT/AAEP in San Antonio – Nov 18-22, 2022
Please feel free to always reach out to any one of the AAEVT Board… we love hearing from you and appreciate your insight and ideas! This Association would not be where it is today without all of your participation – so let’s keep it coming!
Here’s to 2022!
