My name is Eli Olind and I am a born and raised resident of Whitehall, MT. I attended Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, WY, where I majored in Veterinary Technology and competed on the rodeo team. I graduated with my A.A.S in Veterinary Technology in 2010.
I have been certified through Montana and working in mixed animal practice since 2011. I currently work at an Equine/Small animal practice in McAllister, Mt, and am a part-time instructor of Veterinary Technology at Pima Medical Institute’s Dillon Campus.
I have served on the Big Sky Veterinary Technician Associations Executive Committee for the last 9 years and am currently serving as President. I serve on the BSVTA’s Legislative committee working alongside the Montana Veterinary Medical Association to put licensure in place for Veterinary Technicians under the Montana State Veterinary board.
We were successful in passing legislation for Licensure of Veterinary Technicians and starting January 1st , 2023, we will now have the title of LVT in Montana. In my free time, you’ll find me at a rodeo competing, starting colts, or out on a horse in the mountains.
