New invasive tick poses threat to livestock, humans

The “longhorned” tick, Haemaphysalis longicornis, is an aggressive variety of tick spreading across the U.S. Potential hosts could include cattle, white-tailed deer, horses, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, opossum, birds and raccoons. Read more here.
