Equine endocrine disease has been identified as the top cause of laminitis in horses. Testing, diagnosis, and therapies for equine endocrine conditions are abundant and challenging to sort through, with overlap between PPID and EMS often creating even more confusion. This talk aims to update all on the current best practices for approaching and treating these common endocrinopathies, while offering insights into their pathophysiology.
